The agenda for the 18th edition of the Green Events & Innovations Conference (GEI) is already filling up.

The leading conference for event sustainability sees the brightest minds gather to tackle the most poignant and pressing topics relating to event sustainability, climate change, and social action.

Topics so far slated for discussion at GEI 2026 include AI and sustainability, which will discuss issues around the social, economic, and environmental impacts of AI on the events industry from a sustainability perspective; removing diesel from events through batteries and electric grid connections; adapting to climate change impacts to keep audiences, crew, and artists safe (and to keep the show on the road); and the Live Entertainment Energy Scheme (LEES) – a partnership between Ecotricity, LIVE, AGF, and Music Venue Trust allowing venues to access deep green energy at a fraction of the cost.

GEI takes place on Tuesday, 24 February, kicking off ILMC week. GEI attendance requires a separate event ticket, but ILMC delegates can take advantage of a discounted rate.
